What kind of music do you listen to? Do you want loudness or sound quality? What is your budget?

Any of the above with the right power will pound. I have two 12 type r's and they get low and still have really tight bass. I imagine the 10's would be even cleaner. two 12s give you 24 inches of air moving while the 3 10s is 30.

I would do 2 12's but 3 10's if you want to be different.
