Tweeter probelm please help!!!! Ok so I posted in here a few days ago about my speakers not working. Last night I worked on it for a while and have narrowed it down, but I still can't figure out what's wrong.
When I hook up my tweeter in the drivers side door I get nothing without the midrange installed. When I hook up the tweeter in the drivers door with the midrange installed it almost mutes that midrange instantly. All wires are hooked up correctly and it can't be a polarity issue I have triple checked all the other speakers. I also unhooked all the speakers in the car and just tried to run these door components and again nothing. So the problem is in that door or maybe at the head unit??????? Anybody have any ideas? Is it a grounding issue? A headunit wiring issue, but if its the headunit why would it cutout my midrange speaker?
