Monster Tach

hey guys...im installing a Autogage monster tach in my 98 z...but there no way i can find the power source of my ignition coils...so i can connect the adapter...so i need some help wit it...if any of u guys have done before, can u please tell me... i will really appreciate ur help. thanks

Tap into your gauge cluster's tach signal wire and set your tach to 4-cylinders.

I'm hoping you don't do it, even though I told you how.

Nothin wrong with a monster tach, I'm running one & love it. WAY better than that POS stocker thats never right. I used to just have a Harlan shift light in the pillar but wanted a accurate tach & a nice monster tach solves both.

I just tapped into the tach signal output wire from my PCM for my install. Works flawlessly. But like stated above, set it to 4 cylinder mode otherwise it'll read exactly half the correct RPM..

Monster tach is ugly as hell IMO. But, your RPM wire off the PCM should be pin #10. I am going by memory though.

ya red connector pin 10 white wire.set up as 4cly 2 pules.
