Thoughts on new receiver Eclipse CD7200 MKll Getting ready to upgrade the factory head unit in my 02 Trans Am and am thinking about going with the Eclipse CD7200 MKll. Just wondering if anyone has used a non amplified receiver on the factory monsoon system? Any wiring issues? Lets hear your thoughts. http://www.eclipse-web.com/us/cd/cd7200overviews.html

its a very nice unit, but it wont work with monsoon amp. The monsoon amp uses the factory hu speaker level outputs to turn on the amp. The hu only has preamp outs. I hope the info helpful.
