Keyless Entry Can I use a 1995 (3rd gen) keyless entry remote with my 2000 Trans Am (4th gen) keyless entry system?

Those are both 4th gen... 3rd gen ended with the 92 model.
The remotes are different but I suspect they both use the same frequencies and codes. I suggest trying it - program the remote and see if it works. If it doesn't then you only have to reprogram for the later model remote. All you lose is a little time.
