The HID kit comes with the bulb in a sealed "capsule" which is a plug n play for you stock headlight housing. The kit comes with everything you need to install them on a stock setup
Stocker thanks for the pictures and I'm glad you enjoy them!!!

Yeah for a Camaro maybe but not a TransAm. For the TA's you still need to buy a housing that has a replaceable bulb. Like a Hella or EuroLamp conversion headlight. Or you could gut the stock housings because the stock TA headlights are a sealed beam headlight, which means the bulb is the entire headlight housing.

just intalled my HIDs!!! Had some trouble at first but the guys here on LS1tech steered me in the right direction. Took all of 10mins to install, just had to reverse the plug on the ballast. They look great I'll get some pix up later.

This is exactly what I have been looking for but I have read on here HID's are no good without projectors. Is this any different? From what I have read is that without projectors the light won't be much better than stock and will blind everyone else. I'd like to be able to see better at night because what I have now is horrible even after adjusting and I'd love to get this but how does it compare to say a $300 - $400 retrofit of projector HID's?
Will these not work on a 98 camaro? They are listed 99-02...

I'm a bit confused. For the 93-97 Camaros, does the HID bulb come already sealed in the headlight housing (similar to a factory sealed beam halogen) or is the housing similar to the one at eurolights where the bulbs can be replaced without having to heat up the silicone, etc.?
