????, there are no Batteries for the SWI-x, it hooks to a DRK blue wire then it hooks to a power source and a ground. The unit was only $69, u can get it from crutchfield and other stereo shops like that.

Have you used this model on your car? How good is it? Does it need to be right infront to send the signal?

Yea I Forget Waht I Have I Think Its A Pac Item I Bought It At Best Buy When Iworked There But It Took Like 5 Min To Hook Up Seeing That I Was Already Doing My Harness And Works Great Ow For Like A Year Hell Its More Responsive Than The Orginal Monsoon Hardwire And Its Ir To My Pioneer Deck
