I have a rockford 10" punch in the drivers side wheelwell area in one of the special made boxes, I know that they dont make those boxes for a 12 so if you ran it I dont know where you could put it without running one of those big boards that turn the whole well into a box, or one of those expensive types that are on the link above.
Fyi My 10 hits very hard, I think because its tucked back in the well area.

if you do decide to go down to the 10, the guy that sold me my box makes them himself and sold it to me for 70 bucks.. it's a good strong box and I've had no problems with it.. PM me if you want his info I'll have to see if I can dig it up lol

I had a drop-in box for 2 10's and had it cut for 12's. Had to put the t-tops in the back seat. They fit fine, I just used a old sweater on top of the bottom one before puttint the top one on. One in each seat basically. We'd gotten good enough that me and a buddy could do it in a few seconds at a stop light.

I have a box from subthump for 2-12's and it is made to hold the t-tops as well. It matches my interior great and I paid a little extra to have "Trans Am" in raised letters on it. Sounds great with my 2 Clarion 12's and it holds the tops nice and tight against eachother with a small towel in between them. I'll try to put a pic for ya. Little pricey, I think I paid around $300 or so for it.
