Amp selection advice for 10" Alpine sub
I am not looking to blow the doors of my cars, I just want nice clean bass. Not looking to spend a ton of money. With the amp I am using now the bass just seems really mushy. Anyone have any thoughts? Thanks in advance!

That Alpine MRPM500 looks like a reasonably priced amp. I think I might go with that and then use the PG amp to power the door speakers.
The 611a is rated at 657RMS@2ohms. and I have the sub wired parallel to run it at 2ohms. The sub is rated at 600 RMS, I also bought that off ebay for $130 shipped. The 611a is perfect for the RE SE10 but it may be a bit much for the Type R. I'm not positve what RMS the type R is rated at. The alpine mrpm500 is 300RMS@2ohms I think right?
Either way, I'm sure you can find the mrpm500 for a good price on ebay, there are some good sellers on there if you find the right ones.
You can also find them pretty cheap on ebay new.

That is exactly what you want. Most amps will not run at 1 ohm so a DVC 2ohm sub would not be a good choice because it would limit your amp choices a bit. Running that sub in parallel at 2ohms is perfect because most class-D sub amps are 2ohm stable. Your not losing out on any power at all. Your actually getting all you can at 2ohms from most amps.
