Battery problem, corrossion, need input

Battery problem, corrossion, need input On the trans am, Driven wednesday fine, go to start thursday, dead.
The battery is an exide. It was replaced 4 months ago, then 2 months ago the exide died and I got a free one. Now it died again and i notice the pos terminal is wobbly and has corrosion on it.
Why the hell would 2 new batteries die on me in like 3 months ? Alt puts out 14v and nothing is left on in the car.
Can these just be crap batteries ?
