battery relocation?

battery relocation? i want to relocate my battery to the trunk, and i dont want to cut up the factory wiring. just want to see any pic or get some ideas on how i can do it.

There is a guy on here who makes a block to do it. All you do is screw the stock cables to the block and run a wire to the back. Couldn't be more simple really...

I just thought I would give you guys an option. I planned the same thing. I bought all the parts seperately since I wanted mine on the drivers side and the bottle on the passengers side. I then weighed all the cable, brackets and mounts. It came to 23lbs, WTF. Add 23lbs to the car so I can move 34? I autocross and take it to the strip so front weight and total weight matter. So I looked into a light weight set up. I went with the 15lb Braille battery. With the bracket it came to 17lbs, for a savings of 17lbs and 17lbs less on the nose. I do have a bigger stereo in the car and it seems to work just fine. Just food for thought.

I made my own lower base to fit the factory tray.
The terminal blocks are from JL Audio XB-PDBU-4 and I used 1/0 guage to feed them the power.

Not a cheap solution but it saved 20lbs and seems to handle my stereo with 155amp truck alternator.
