Title says it all, I am trying to change the appearance of the TCS switch into a toggle switch (that will opperate the tcs) with an aviation cover and was wondering which wires go to the - power, acc, and ground. Somehow, I keep winding up with my dashboard lights either constantly on or constantly off. PLEASE HELP!
Wires are as follows:
A: fuse output-ignition 3-type III fuse
B: Traction Control System indicator lamp output-failure
C: Instrument Panel Lamp Feed
E: Traction Control System switch signal
F: Engine control module ground

This will not work. The TCS button is a momentary switch. It just sends a one-time pulse of electricity to the computer. You'd have to find a way to re-program/re-wire the car's computer if you were to do such a thing.
The car was engineered specifically so you can't do this. The designers wanted the TCS to come back on every time the car starts up.

Nope. You'd need to create a device, which would read the position of the aftermarket switch, run some logic, pause for a couple of seconds, and then pulse the brake module. It could be done, but would require some digital circuit design skills.
If someone would design and sell one, they would probably make a killing. When I got my car, the exact one I wanted was on the dealer's lot, except it had TCS. (which I did not want) I then had to wait 9 months before the factory could deliver a WS6 without TCS installed.

the mustangs and mini coopers use a similar style traction control setup when it comes on every time and you pules the button to turn it off. on mustang and mini cooper forums there are how to's to wire up your own so it will shut it off everytime u start the car, then if u want it on turn it back on
