Flickering headlights

My headlights have been flickering badly lately. Any ideas where to start? The alternator, perhaps?

are they HID's if so they may need a capacitor it help with the power and did you check all the connections.

My car was doing that recently, i just replace the alternator and it stopped the flickering. I would check the battery/alternator first before buying anything.

check out my thread. I am still battling the same problem that you're battling.. I just got a brand new optima red top and the problem is still there. I am thining this season that I am going with a new alt.
