Where to mount the Kenwood Brain
Where to mount the Kenwood Brain I have a Kenwood kvt-719dvd i got for a good deal, but it comes with this brain/control box. Where have you guys mounted this? It doesn't seem to fit under the seats and i dont want to go all the way to the trunk with it. Is there any other locations?

Won't it sit above the head unit? There should be enough room in the dash but you might have to rig some kind of mount.

man you know i never thought about putting it directly on top. I'm going to go check right now.

Sorry you are correct, but even like that it does not fit. It is too long to fit in the long way and too wide to go in side ways. I think i am just going to have to extend all the wires to the rear of the car.
If i try to put it in the long way it hits what seems to be the air conditioner ducting.
Where do you run the wires through all the way to the back?

I went ahead and extended the harness all the way to the spare tire well. It was a pita i had to remove the console and back seats to lift the carpet enough to run the wires through there. I finally finished but i am having trouble programing the pac swi jack. I just cant get that damn thing to work. Anyone have any trouble with these?
