96 WS6 Keyless Entry Issues

Our 96 WS6's keykess entry doesnt work for some reason. The fob will blow the horn for panic but will not lock or ulock the doors. I have tried reprogramming and it didnt didn't help. Does anybody have any idea what to do to fix it?

I had a 1994 trans am that did the same thing, ended being moisture on the control box for the keyless entry, its located on the passenger side kick panel, mine had some corrosion on the connections. I remember unplugging it and taking it off, cleaned it with some fast drying cleaner, left it to dry and it never failed again. I would advise applying some dielectric grease on the connections.

can you post a pic of where thats located, im having the same problem.. i just dont know which harness it is

You're right... 93-95 models had a separate keyless entry module mounted behind the right kick panel. 96 and newer models had the keyless entry functions incorporated into the BCM (Body Control Module) mounted to the ductwork behind the glovebox.
