Question After market audio power question

Hey guys I was suggested by the fbodyhideout to come here to ask about my audio questions.. I have a 95 t/a I just put 2 12" kicker cvr's powered by Directed 1100 amp, Optima yellow top up front and one in trunk. Ran power wire from front battery postive to rear battery possitive and used body ground for rear battery ground...sorry if its getting confusing but hang with me lol..my power wire is 0gu 1ot ..I came home after work today and my car wouldnt crank: dead battery(s).. I still have the stock altenator and factory size power wire to altenator to battery. I am using my amp ground and battery ground (rear battery) on the same terminal (also sharred with a couple small factory ground, by the hatch release). All pics of the install are on my myspace.. http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/inde...lbumId=1613840

I know the amp wires look messy I havnt had a chance to tidy them up yet...

Thanks for the help guys...Im yet to see the rest of the forum this was just kind of my emergency question for now..but iv heard a ton of great things from the hideout

you need an isolator. It allows the batteries to not drain off each other. The batteries only connect when u trigger the isolator(ignition). So u can have ur stereo battery and ur vehicle battery. then both charge when the car is running.

That and I would definately do the big 3. That will really help to keep them charged. You really don't need both batteries though. The big 3 and just the yellow top would be fine.
