Default Problem with radio/head unit

So tonight I'm cleaning my interior with some quick wipes. I clean around the air vents and clean the buttons on the radio.

I start the car and turn on the radio all is well. I then press the CD button and nothing happens! So I turn off the car and restart it, the stereo has the CD logo on it but it wont play the CD. So I try ejecting the CD and it wont eject it either.

Whats up with this? Its just a stock head unit on a 97 Z28. I've been thinking about replacing it but it sounds fairly good and loud I've decided not to. I had 2 different head units in my last 97 and it didnt sound as good as this stock one!
