Default Ground effect lighting question

I have this crazy idea of running 110v Red rope light underneath my car as a cheap ground effect lighting. How powerful of a converter will i have to use? I like the idea of rope l.e.d. lighting cause a can buy it from wal-mart for $12 for 20 ft. which gives me a hell of a good light and for a really good price. And where would a good place to mount a converter?

You're driving a Trans Am, not a ricer.

Just get something that runs on 12v and splice it into your accessories circuit?
