Default Powering Amps

I am gonna be running a 1000w mono amp for two subs and a 240w amp for the speakers. Will 4ga be sufficient? If so, What is the best way to distribute power to both? Do they make a distribution block? Thanks

Yes 4 gauge would be sufficient and yes you can purchase a distribution block for both amps.

I'd go with 0 gauge and run the biggest your amps can handle. The input on my 4 channel can only take 8 gauge, and my 2 channel will take 4 gauge so I went with the KnuKonceptz fused digital distribution block which will accept up to 2 0 gauge inputs, which I used both, and then used the 4 gauge for my 2 channel and the 8 for my 4 channel. Its gonna take the path of least resistance, so you really can't go too big (within reason of course).

Is that 1240 rms watts, or peak?
There's a big difference between the two!
