Default Speaker Advice

I am wanting to upgrade my monsoon speakers while keeping the rest of the monsoon system for now. YES I ALREADY SEARCHED about this several times .... My questions are with doing this what are my options on speakers which you guys have used ? Maybe a list of what is usable .... For the fronts I know they are components set up like coaxials so are there many after market ones set up same way because I'm having trouble finding any. I'd rather not cut holes for tweeters unless necessary .... Who has converted coaxial style speakers to work effectively also .... Just wanting to know my options thanks

All of these will work good for the front doors.
JBL P662, 2ohm, 93db, $85 Ebay. Polk Audio DB651, 4ohm, 92db, $70 Ebay. Polk Audio MM651, 3ohm, 94db, $120 Ebay.
For the sail panel subs:
Kicker CVT652, 2ohm, $70 - $100 ea..

I put Phoenix Gold RSd6.s's components in my doors and Bazooka's in my sails. Was easy to install and sounds really good! Fit right into stock stuff.

Ive never used them but what kinda quality is Polk and JBL for speakers?? I would of assumed they are kinda cheaper and wouldn't sound all that great,,, wouldnt kenwood sound better then those for that same price? Can anyone comment.
(on a budget only) I always found kenwood was a really good bang for your buck when it comes to just speakers. I dont really like there subs tho.

The JBL's sound better then the Kenwood door speaker they replaced in my sons' car and the polks sound even better, especially the MM651 speakers.

Both of the polks look to be coaxial speakers .... ? The JBL's look to be a good option . Not many reviews though . As far as the sail panel subs what kind of options have any of you tried or heard ? Who likes the bazooka's and what other affordable options are out there with little to no modification ?

Since you have searched... is there some reason you're dismissing the speaker packages sold by our sponsor Kee Audio? They include CDT coaxially mounted components for the doors and a selection of 6.5" subs for the sail panels. Everyone who has used them has been quite happy with the results.

I hear they sound good from what I have read but I just am not all that familiar with the CDT brand so would rather just purchase piece by piece with what I really want . I also don't see that you can select different subs for the sail panels with out going up in package which is another issue .... ? I am just wanting to know what others have used in the stock location with little or no modifications and their opinions on them ....?

use crutchfield as a source of knowledge, then the internet to purchase what they say will fit, at a good savings.

That's what I did but crutchfield is misleading because it says all 6.5s will work in front and side panels and they will not ....

In the sail panels as long as the mounting depth is 3" or less no modification is needed.
