Default add an auxicilary fuse box inside car

car is a 99 WS6

I'm wanting to add an auxicilary fuse box inside car under the dash so I can have an independant circuit for my trans. temp, fuel preasure wide band guages, radar detector an near future DC/AC inverter & radar scambler.

I allready have a #2 AWG power wire from battery to my rear stereo amps.

? can I just splice (w/ H-tap) into this #2AWG power wire w/ a #8 wire to power up relay for a small auxicilary fuse box?

I drew a diagram of the plan. will this work? am I missing anything?

I was planning on picking up a small fusebox maybe a F-body side dash type at the junk yard and a brand new relay, for this project.

any helpfull tips is apreciated.

like should I be connecting to the starter selenoid enstead of directly to #2 AWG (battery)?

I have read the stinkies this subject is omitted.

I'm confussed on why is constant +12V required for guages when I have switched +12V ?

Default

I made an auxiliary fuse box when I rewired my entire lighting electrical system, and I just did battery>fuse>aux fuse box> lights. Why do you want to add a relay?

Default extra fuse box

thought the relay was the thing to do since some of the nice after market auxiciarly boxs had them was planning on stealing +12V source from the starter silenoid.

? how much stuff can be wired in parralle off the inside side dash aux. plug?

I have 2 guages and a radar allready connected to this aux. plug.

I have read somewhere on the net that the wide band should be wired indepentantly.

Thanks
