Install amps under front seats?

Install amps under front seats?

Has anyone put their amps under the front seats? I currently have mine in the t-top stowage area (no t-tops on my car), but I'd like to move them under the front seats (less chance of wires being tugged, liquid spilling on the amps, etc). The pass side seems fine, but the wiring for the power driver seats comes up right in the middle of the carpet. Can I just cut another hole in the carpet and route the wiring that way?

It would be a tight fit if you could even get them to fit. The amp may also over heat due to lack of air circulation

if i recall seats sit too low to fit em in there, IMO put them in and aroudn the spare tire

Same. I mounted mine in the right fenderwell. Made a custom tuck-away rack for it. Seats = overheat, possible physical damage, and wouldn't want to drop a drink near one while driving

I thought about this as well, but ended up mounting mine in the spare tire area and removing my donut. There is just not enought room under the front seats and your amps, won't have good air flow/space around them to keep cool.
