Default Remote wire off of Monsoon amp??

Was wondering if anyone has done this or if there is anything wrong with doing this? Figured instead of running another wire all the way to the front why not to the amp which is right beside the amp that I'm going to install in the back.

any thoughts or input? anyone know which wire i can use on the monsoon for a remote?

Great idea and it would work fine... except that the Monsoon amp doesn't have a remote turn on wire. The Monsoon amp uses signal sensing to turn on when it detects input from the head unit.

Yes, of course the amp has a power wire. However, it is a constant (battery) connection - it doesn't switch on and off with the amp. The amp has power to it all the time and it switches on and off depending on whether it is receiving signal from the head unit.
