Default Fugged up my HVAC?

My defroster burnt out so I went to change the board I got online... My dad said just change the whole unit... moved all the sockets over... defroster works go to turn the heat up... NOTHING
We took my old unit off, no dice
My dad said I blew the fuse for the heater core...? I'm freezing my *** off so I came inside... where the hell is this thing...
Tomorrow I might just spray some contact cleaner and pray..
I NEED MY HEAT
Thanks
Any ideas where the fuse is?
Thanks a lot
<--won't be me untill I fix my heat

There is no fuse for the heater core. It's an extension of your coolant system that goes through the firewall. Do you have fan activity? How is your coolant level? What EXACTLY is your car doing (you turn the switch and...).
