Error code E-30, only on disc #5 = ?????

E-30 code is a disc that's not upside down. Disc is in right (in the 12 disc changer) but keeps giving an E-30 code just on disc #5. What's up with that?

Could it be the disc? Have you tried a different CD in that slot?

Yup sho' have, I don't get it, everytime it gets to disk five it freezes and gives me the error code E-30.

Try checking the cartridge to make sure the plastic tray for disc 5 isn't sticking or broken. You can buy replacement (or extra) cartridges from places like Best Buy or online. It's Pioneer part number JDT-1212.
