Stealthbox users - What sub and amp do you run? I have bought a stealthbox from SubThump and I would like to know what sub and amp combo you guys are running. I'm thinking of a Pioneer sub and possibly an Alpine amp. I know choices are limited due to small size of the box.

I think $500-$700 for sub and amp is sufficient. I'm not looking for a deafening system, just something to fill in the bass. I like rock so clean, sharp bass hits are what I'm looking for.

I'm using a Kicker ZX400.1 amplifier (rated at 480W) and an Alpine 10" type R subwoofer, Paid about $110 for the sub and $200 for the amp 2 years ago. Another highly recommended subwoofer is the RE SE10 (600W max RMS). Pair that with a Kicker ZX500.1 which will be rated at or close to 600W and you can get both for about $400.
Hifonics even has a new five channel amplifier out what will put out 1000W to the subwoofer at 1 ohm and 750W at 2 ohms and can be had for under $400.
