Default 6 cd changer compatibility with factory radio?

I'm looking to buy one of the 6 cd changers in the for sale section and wondering what all is involved in the installation? Is this a plug and play setup to the existing factory radio with just one cable, or is there more to it then that?

should be plug and play. if its a older car,98 or 99 you need to have the radio with the cassette and not the in dash cd player.

It's an 02. Is the cable in place for the cd changer or should it come with the changer?

I believe the cable should be on the left side of the rear of the car if it had the top of the line factoryu headunit-take off the panel to see
My B4C has cassette but no cable-I looked.

All Monsoon equipped f-bodies came pre-wired for the CD changer. You will find the changer harness connector wrapped in foam taped to the left hatch speaker harness.
