Default Pioneer Avic D3 help.... White screen

I just got my D3 in the mail today, I wired everything and it was "loose" everything worked perfect. I slid it into the dash and screwed it in, after I powered it back up the side lights on the buttons lit up, followed quickly by nothing but a white screen and the buttons loosing the lights.

If I unplug it, and plug it back in same thing. I'm not sure what I did wrong, it was operating perfectly for probably 5-10 minutes while I just held it and adjusted/played around with all the nifty features.

Anybody??

The fact that it works when not in the dash and that you can do it more than once with the same thing happening indicates that there is a connection that is loose or getting pinched when you mount the head unit. Did you use a harness adapter? Are all your connections soldered?

I used a harness adapter, after the last time as I went to install the headunit and it "died" it hasn't worked since. After work I'm planning on re checking every connection going from there.

Update: Just got off the phone with a pioneer tech, after running multiple of his "test" he feels that there is a software issue inside the actual unit.

This is because, when the unit is "on" it will not accept a CD, both the yellow power wire, and red REM wire have a solid 12.7V, along with the ground being a solid one. (used to measure Volts for the power and REM wire.

So, I guess I'll be trying to find a local repair place, or ship it to pioneer.
