Amp and Sub on stock head unit
Im trying to hook up my amp and sub to the stock head unit, ive got the amp wired from the battery, and grounded in the trunk. Ive got a LOC tapping into the left rear speaker. Im just wondering where the best place to run the remote would be without having to tear into the dash would be?

You don't say what kind of car. In a Firebird you can use the power antenna wire as a remote turn-on. Camaros don't have that wire so you'll have to go with an ignition controlled power source. That's all assuming a factory head unit. Aftermarket head units have a remote turn-on wire built in.
