Now it's time to hit some good SPL's! My two 15" Fosgate DVC's hit 145.5 with 200W per sub!

Who measured it? What type of tone where you playing and what amp are you using on them?

I used an old Fosgate 225.2. It's about 6 years old. I placed the mic at the base of the windshield. Our cars are excellent for reflecting/amplifying sound off the windshield. I had it measured at a competition but I didn't have the money to enter. I didn't use any competition CD to measure SPL. I think I used Slick Rick or DMX (no sine waves or anything like that).

its a special order box. i bought it from CANNIBAL, he had it made. im sure if you talk to "MEGABASS" from subthump (thats his board name on here) he can hook you up. Hes the one that built it.

Glad you like the box. I bet it plays Low. You should easily be in the 148 and up dB range. Anyone hitting 145 with two 15s is doing someting wrong. I have guys with two 12s hitting 147 without breaking a sweat.

The reason they are listed as discontinued is that I was getting so many guys bugging me and asking a bunch of stupid questions and then not buying anything, so I took them off there. That just wastes too much of my time. I could do another dual 15 box for somebody who was serious about a nice dual 15 setup.

The only reason I didn't hit higher was because I had the amp turned down and mounted where I couldn't get to it easily. I'm sure it was capable of much more than than 145.5 dB.
