Well, I bit the bullet and got a GM9-AUX for my 2000 T/A with CD headunit and 12 disc changer. The device works well for my XM radio but it looks like they were right about it not supporting multiple devices prior to 2001. When both the XM radio and the CD changer are connected, both try to play at the same time. Unplugging the changer from the harness allows switching between the headunit and the XM radio using the CD/Play button and sounds great.

I don't want to give up my changer just yet and the wired FM modulator works well enough for the noisy car interior so if anyone wants a GM9-AUX cheap, let me know.

$69.45 + shipping from Ziggy at MyRadioStore.com. (I'll let it go for $50 plus shipping).

So did you sell the adapter or not? If not I may be interested and I live in Jax also.

Let me know!

I just found out I have to spend $100 on knock sensors, so pass this to someone else. Sorry. I wasn't expecting $100.

Well, I went out and bought one thinking that it would control 3 devices. It does not. I have a 2001 with an indash single CD and changer in the back. When you click on aux/cd with a cd in the head unit it switches back and forth between changer and in dash only. With no CD in the head unit it does not switch at all. It stays on changer and you can hear the changer and the other device trying to play at the same time.

For someone with no changer who wants to add an aux device it appears this would work. With the changer it's a nogo. If anyone wants to buy this they can have it for $65 shipped (to the continental US). Logjam is going to charge me $10 for restocking anyway. I've got 15 days to return it. If nobody wants it by Thursday I'll send it back to Logjam.

Sorry, too bad you hadn't read my post from mid-May in which I explained that I had experienced exactly the same symptoms on my 2000. There is a different PIE adapter that will work on all years for switching between an indash CD, CD changer, and even a couple of auxiliary devices. However, that adapter requires the use of an included external switchbox to switch between the devices (the button on the head unit won't do it). If you don't mind mounting an external switchbox somewhere on your dash, it might be what you're looking for.
