It is almost certainly not the "motor" since there are three motors in the seat and it is unlikely all three could fail at the same time. It is possible but unlikely that it is the seat switch for the same reason (there are actually three switches in the housing). The power seat is protected by the DEFOG/SEATS 30-amp circuit breaker in the dash fuse panel (slot #12). Circuit breakers are difficult to test and tend to fail with age so replacing with a 30-amp fuse will likely solve the problem.

figured it was something small because none of the switches do anything. ok i get the car back tonight or tomorrow morning so ill check. i thought it could also be a relay if not a fuse. this weekend is prepping the car for me to actually drive it everyday (kinda)

When I purchaseD my car the seats were dead. There is a connector under the carpet or something that got corroded. I had the dealership fix it and haven't had an issue since.

My seats decide when they want to work, you may not have the same problem but just give it a day and try moving it again. my seat one minute will work perfectly fine while the next minute the switches are completely dead

Try the rear defroster - easy way to check the circuit breaker.

Have you checked under the seat to make sure the connector is tightly connected? There's a black connector under the driver's seat inboard (near the driveshaft tunnel) that has orange (power) and black (ground) wires for the seat.

sometimes if you tap on the motor housings that will free up the internals
in the motors and get the seat to move again . over time the grease in the
housings get hard causing the motor to seize up . i also seen it happen with
cars in extreme cold weather .
