Aftermarket Alarm Installers Help Please! (DEI) Hi everyone, i'm currently having some very strange problems with my Python DEI 2 way pager alarm (no remote start). I just installed a clutch this past weekend, in which I disconnected the battery. When I reconnected the battery after the install I noticed that the alarm would arm/disarm, doors would lock but would not unlock. I also noticed that if I open the door with my key the alarm would then arm/disarm AND lock/unlock. My question is can you reset this alarm? It seems as if all the connections are good, as the functions work under certain conditions. Thank you for any help in advance
Cliff Notes
1. Before disconnecting battery alarm worked completely fine
2. I have disconnected the battery before and never had an issue
3. I did start the car without the hatch release button connected, it is connected now.
4. Alarm will arm/disarm and lock, but will not unlock
5. Will have full function INCLUDING unlock if I open the door and close it, then arm/disarm the alarm system
6. Hatch release (AUX on the alarm) works ONLY when the system unlocks the doors

No i'm not having that problem. It seems like the alarm itself is disarming and arming as it should. Its just that the door doesn't unlock, but it will lock. Also, when I used the switch from the interior door trim panel the lock will unlock and lock perfectly fine. It's a really strange problem. Extremely annoying that I have to disarm the doors with the key fob and still use the key itself to unlock the door.
