Default Need help with interior LED domelights

I purchased multiple sets of interior pre-made LED boards off of ebay for my malibu, camaro, and trailblazer like these: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...K%3AMEWAX%3AIT

The issue i'm having is in the 02 camaro and 05 mailbu when the doors shut and the dome lights time out and shut off they do not completely shut off. They are on ever so slightly. Now in the 06 Trailblazer they shut off completely.

Somewhere there must be surface voltage running in the interior light circuit. Anyone run across this before and if so any ideas to fix this issue?

Any input would be highly appreciated

Yes, if you replace all of the bulbs in one circut with LED's there is not enough of a drain to completely turn off the lights. Suggest to put one real light bulb back into the circut somewhere. I did my interior also and put in floor lighting, i wound up painting the cover on the dome light over the rear seat and putting the bulb back in and all is well.

There is also the possibility of adding a resistor to the circuit. I'm not sure of the value required though.

I tried this with resistors varying from 47 ohms to 1K ohm. No effect with the lower resistance but when I got closer to the 1k range the brightness of the leds were reduced dramatically and when timed out they were still on but mor dim than before.

I knew 98% the resistor trick wouldnt work but was curious!

In the camaro I have them in the rear view mirror(on each side) and in the rear domelight. Looks excellent but will kill the batt. overtime. And the camaro is not a daily driver.

My wifes Malibu is a daily driver and she only has one in the domelight. Thats all the interior lights they have in the Malibu's.

Im sure the additional bulb in the circuit will kill the remaining voltage but I don't think i can safely add another bulb without it possibly burning something overtime i.e. headliner, panel etc.....
