Thats why you get solder pellets and do it the right way. Mine is an LT1 but i did it for less than $20, use 2 gauge wire but its all soldered and heat shrinked.

Well, if I DIY'd every tiny aspect of my projects, I'd never finish anything. This was worth the $80 to have it done right and not having to go search for and buy anything else. YMMV.

FWIW, I have an LT1 also...

Just got my BIG3 wiring harness from Gary at Innovative Wiring. I apologize for using someone else's pic (totally forgot to take pics of the harness and 160AMP alternator b4 the install).

This is exactly the condition (minus the scissors) that I received my harness. Gary took great care in carefully putting together the package. Furthermore, installation was pretty straight forward - lengths of the wires was spot on.
