CD Player or Interior lights wont come on

CD Player or Interior lights wont come on I hooked up the right rear 6 1/2 and turned the radio on and it worked but my friend was putting in my left speaker and cut the interior light wires on accident and when we hooked the other speaker up the CD player wouldnt come on or any of the interior lights. Can somebody help me troubleshoot this problem PLEASE!
