Default Bazooka replacements on 2001 Firebird

My stock monsoon sail panel speakers blew out month or two ago and I finally found replacement speakers (Bazooka 6-1/2" DVC sub woofers) and I removed the old speakers and harnesses one month ago. Unfortunately, i lost one of the wire harnesses so i am just going to solder the wires to the new bazooka.

I have a couple questions before I do this. I am a beginner with audio systems, I have only installed a couple head units, never speakers. My brother moved several states away from me and isn't able to help atm.

The Bazooka's are DVC, do I solder all 4 wires to the one sub or just one set (TAN and RED for right speaker and WHITE and TAN for left speaker)? Since I won't be using a wire harness, I'm going to have to grab additional speaker wire to solder together so the wires could fit the mounted speakers.

I found this in the monsoon FAQ for speaker wiring

TAN - right rear subwoofer negative output
RED - right rear subwoofer positive output
LIGHT BLUE w/BLACK - right rear subwoofer speaker negative output
DARK GREEN - right rear subwoofer speaker positive output

WHITE - left rear subwoofer negative output
TAN - left rear subwoofer positive output
LIGHT GREEN w/BLACK - left rear subwoofer speaker negative output
DARK BLUE w/WHITE - left rear subwoofer speaker positive output

All four to one sub, one pair of wires for each voice coil on the cone. It's a DVC (dual voice coil) cone. I would not solder the wire from the amp directly on to the speaker terminals. Just solder on a 16 AWG 18" length of wire to the terminals, with a male bullet connector on the other end. Crimp female (insulated) bullet connectors on the hot side coming from the amp. Then you have a quick disconnect built in and don't have to solder inside the car.
