Bazooka replacements on 2001 Firebird
I have a couple questions before I do this. I am a beginner with audio systems, I have only installed a couple head units, never speakers. My brother moved several states away from me and isn't able to help atm.
The Bazooka's are DVC, do I solder all 4 wires to the one sub or just one set (TAN and RED for right speaker and WHITE and TAN for left speaker)? Since I won't be using a wire harness, I'm going to have to grab additional speaker wire to solder together so the wires could fit the mounted speakers.
I found this in the monsoon FAQ for speaker wiring
TAN - right rear subwoofer negative output
RED - right rear subwoofer positive output
LIGHT BLUE w/BLACK - right rear subwoofer speaker negative output
DARK GREEN - right rear subwoofer speaker positive output
WHITE - left rear subwoofer negative output
TAN - left rear subwoofer positive output
LIGHT GREEN w/BLACK - left rear subwoofer speaker negative output
DARK BLUE w/WHITE - left rear subwoofer speaker positive output
i had to drill some new holes because the current ones were to spread apart
they fit very tight so there is no rattling at all =D
thanks for the help Capricio
