Default Headunit Installed. Steering Wheel Controls Adapter Fail

Well I got my headunit in and love it but my Axxess ASWC steering wheel controls adapter I bought was a complete fail. Auto detect. Fail. Manual Program. Fail. It obviously was hooked up right but it just wasn't working with my new JVC headunit. Suggestions?

What makes you so sure it was 'obviously' hooked up right? I wouldn't be so sure... Are you *absolutely* sure you tied into the right wire on the ASWC harness?

It may be possible that you have a bad unit. Maybe try exchanging it for another one?
