I was looking at that one, but the [low] pricetag made me resort to scrounging in the parts bin. Yup, that's how cheap I am sometimes.

I hear ya on that! The one on Amazon looks nice but I would think part of it would be in view with it mounted on the windshield.

If I could get mine uploaded I'll have a few. Youtube has been freezing up every time I try. Doesn't help that I have shitty time-warner cable

lol, $!0 says that it's your computer and not the cable that's the issue. How long are your videos?

I finally got one uploaded, it was around five minutes but I trimmed it down under four. The picture quality is really good but it looks like the camera was constantly trying to focus and it's annoying as all hell. I'm trying a couple others right now and will hopefully post them in a bit.

I use a laundry bar with the camera tripod that has the bendable legs. works great, doesn't slide or fall.

I took this one the day you made the thread to test it out, since I was testing it, I forgot to completely secure the camera on the bolt to stop it from having a slight shake, so it is what it is.

Damn video and audio quality took a huge hit after being uploaded to youtube, same video playing on vlc player I can see and hear every little thing perfectly.. I've uploaded other vids and this one had the biggest quality difference out of them all.

You can use the 720p HD setting which helps some, but obviously it's not as good as the original video since they've gotta save space any way they can.

Here's a short one, nothing too exciting but the way the camera seems to zoom in and out annoys me. Still working on some others.

Do you have face detection turned on or some other stupid settings like that? Mine doesn't have any of the "advanced" options and is pretty basic... No issues at all with mine.

I'll have to dig that pic up from my old hd.

Gonna have to look into that one, I don't recall face detection on it but haven't really played with it much. This is actually the most I've used it since getting it for Christmas.

I got the parts from Home Depot, I listed them in post twelve. Mines kind of ghetto fab but it works pretty well. Zex's is pretty nice though and seems to work better.
