Time for new Fog Lights

I had the 35 watt 893 bulbs in my T/A for years without heat problems. But there are 50 watt versions (885 straight, 886 right angle) that have been reported to cause complete destruction of the sockets and housings due to melting. YMMV.
ooh!! thanks didnt think youd get back at me this quick that helps and yes its a 2000 ss camaro
) hahaha and ok cause i wanna put these hids in there i wanna get the 10000k they have the different 800 series bulbs so im gunna prolly just get them i want them to match my headlights cause i installed them on my low beams and they work amazing haha
so if i get these i should prolly get the 893 bulbs? think they be fine? thanks again!!http://www.ebay.com/itm/xeno-HID-KIT...item1e6c0676a9
Ditto. Harder, but still possible. The main drawback with those lights is how hard it is to find some quality H3C HID bulbs since regular H3 HID bulbs don't fit. I actually went back to stock partially for that reason alone.

That looks like it took less work than the Firebird/Formula one. I had to bend and drill new holes in the Formula brackets. On this T/A bracket, it looked like only 2 new holes were needed.

I upgraded to an 880 HID kit with the digital slim balast boxes, no issues to my knowledge.... Will be keeping my eyes and nose open while driving with them on
I am going to find some glass lights same size to replace them with so I can run a 55w kit soon. I might just throw some glass projectors in there depending on price. Right now my 35w kit puts out quite a bit of light. When they are aimed up you can pretty much use them as driving lights as long as the cops don't bug you haha.
