Sony CDX-M630 ? I just go a CDX-M630 it worked fine when i first hooked it up to my 98 camaro but then when i turned it on again the outside works fine but the inside all the buttons would light up but the screen would light up and show just a line going through it and then after a few seconds it would go blank and now it just is completely blank with not lights on the buttons or screen but all the buttons work just fine just cant see what your doing, but it weird because when u flip it close to see the outside, that is working fine, you will see all the inside lights come on right before it closes so im kinda lost as to what is going on here. here is a picture of before it all went blank.

well it just keeps getting better lol, now only the buttons on the left side of the middle screen work and beep when u press them, the ones on the right wont do anything now not even beep or change the station.

I actually have the same exact problem with my cdx-m630 in my nissan 240 but im reluctant to get a new head unit because this one is so unique and people are really impressed by it. Were you able to diagnose it or did you just replace it?
