Im having a prob with my Bird, taillights work but the brakelights dont, also the turn signals are not working, when i flip the light switch the green arrow to the right glows non stop. headlights/fog lights working normally, im guessing it is a ground problem, fuses are ok. any one have an idea ?
thanks,
David.

Yes they are dual and are ok, bought new and replaced same prob :-(
think i have to start looking the wiring all over,
i forgot to mention..few months ago one fuse in the fusebox (driver door) got very hot & melted (20A tallights), replaced and everything worked properly, until a while ago this started.
ground?/fusebox broken? if anyone has an idea please shoot,

Probably 2 separate issues...
Does the third high mount brake light work? If not, its probably not a wiring issue. First thing to check is the brake switch mounted to the pedal. You'll need to take the lower IP panel off the drivers side and get your head under the dash to see it mounted to the pedal bracket. You should be able to test it with a continuity tester to see if its bad.
This could be because a front turn signal is out and isn't drawing enough power to activate the flasher. Or the flasher could be bad. Do both sides have the problem?
