Default LED DRL Question

I've been researching for hours about LED DRL's and all I can find are threads about switchbacks. All I want is an LED bulb that's always amber, works as a blinker, and doesn't melt my lamp. Can someone point me in the right direction by making a list of the exact things I need to successfully do this? I keep reading about resistors too, I don't have a clue where they go and how you'd wire them up, lol, car electronics isn't my hot spot. Thanks!

^^^This. You can order the LEDs from autolumination, or someplace similar. You may also need a load equalizer, even with the electronic flashers (I did).

Thanks guys, I didn't realize it was that easy. You guys think the ones that need the equalizer are the ones bought from eBay and the ones that didn't came from one of the big name LED vendors? I just want to do things the right way first, lol

Alright, I'm ordering electronic flashers AND load equalizers just incase one or the other doesn't work, lol. One more favor guys, can one of you guys post a link for which 3157 bulb you ordered from superbrightleds? There's different styles so I'm not sure which one would be best in the housing, I assume the tower style? thanks!

You don't need load equalizers.

Just replace the stock thermal flasher with an electronic flasher.
