Default Sub woofer question

I have a 98 C5 vette and I want to add a couple subs in the back but would like to still be able to store the top in the factory location. Are there any other manufacture's out there becids JL audio who make a pre fab enclosure that meets this criteria?

I've seen the stealth enclosures on a car like yours before. They sound great.

That depends a lot on what you put in them...

I don't know much about box options because I tend to just build my own, but are you looking for subwoofer recommendations as well or just the box? If you are, then give us goals, budget, etc.

My goal is to get the best sound quality that I can with the limited space that I have. I'd like to use an Orion HCCA or something else along those lines if I'm only able to use one speaker but don't know if I have enough room for even one of those due to my problem with storing the top.
I haven't decided on a budget but I'm sure it going to be expensive to accomplish what I want "bleeding ears"

Orion HCCA is not the direction you should go for SQ. Try Peerless XXLS.

I've got that box in my '01 C5 Vert Vette with a JL 12w6v2, I had to make a tiny bit of room to get the sub's magnet to clear the box but it was only about 1/4" out of the 3/4" MDF

I've got it on a PDX1.1000 and the thing slams for a single 12" and is perfect for the car, on a w6 or w3 you can color match the trim ring to your car and use the JL grill with it to allow no storage space to be lost.

the JL stealth box comes with a 10w3 that ends up completely hidden by the stock storage space cover thing, and is way over priced for what you get considering I fit a 12w6 in the subthump box for less $$, despite what they say at sub thump the carpet doesnt match (for black at least) btw

Vettenuts makes a nice fiberglass one for the C5.
