ALPINE set up Just bought a 10" pioneer sub and borrowed my buddy's amp and rocked the hell
out of the little thing and blew it up whiten the first 24hrs of my buying it (didn't really know jack **** about ohm's and rms untell four days ago) so i decide to drop some real cash into my ride...
I bought 2 12" ALPINE sub 250watts rms/750watts peak $179.99 for pair
and a ALPINE mono 2ohm 500watts rms amp $259.99
and for the box it's a TransAm Q-Logic 12" custom sub box $279.99
Soon i want to change out all the factory speakers too alpine think it would look and sound pretty sick

Your set up is gonna sound and look SWEET.
I have Alpine SPR-60C components in the doors and Alpine Type S Coxials in the sails and it sounds great running off a small Rockford Fosgate amp.

bro...i got an alpine head unit 2 sets of 6 1/2 type s speakers (doors and sail) 6x9 type s speakers on the hatch 2 10" type e subs and a 500 watt mono v power....**** sounds sick bro...youre gonna love it!!!

do you have the monsoon system cus i have ten speakers (not including subs) and not quite sure how the stock mini subs can be replaced or what would sound the best
No, I didn't have the monsoon system in my camaro.
In my Convertible I only have space for 4 speakers (doors & rear sails).
Which mini subs are you reffering to? The Sail panels?

so kind of an epic fail... i got the sub box and its not the same color trim
so i had to paint it (due to me being impatient and no one returning my phone calls) it will be dry in the next few hours and i will have a vid and pics up tonight this thing rocks hard highly recommend going with alpine if your looking at getting something for your ride

What alpine 12" subwoofers did you get? I find it hard to believe there rated at only 250 each. I know some are rated at 250 per coil meaning it would actually be 500rms for a dual coil subwoofer cause my single dual coil Alpine type R 12" is being pushed by a 500rms alpine amp

Your probably right they probably are Type e's. He may have accidently put each instead of 179.99 for the pair. He will reply eventually tho. Just trying to make sure he isn't under powering cause the price 179.99 each sounds like a higher end sub but may be a typo.

ha totally didn't even know i put pair yeah it was for both of them and
there only single coil (i didn't want to spend over a grand on subs my wife would be pretty mad) but i am very satisfied with the sound of these 12"s
and maybe later i will upgrade to more bada55 subs
