Default Changer not playing

I just bought an 01 WS6 with a cd changer. I've never had one before. I put some cds into it and pressed play on the radio. I hear the changer putting in the CD, yet nothing plays, then after about 30 sec then the cd changes and still no play and so on...any ideas?

Take a look at this thread:
https://ls1tech.com/forums/stereo-el...err-error.html

My changer won't play if I put in a CD that gives an error (if I put it in the front it kicks it back out), maybe try a different CD? Any CD in the changer that it doesn't like, and the whole changer stops playing for me.

I'd be willing to bet that you're putting the CDs in upside-down. The factory changer is unlike almost every other changer I've ever seen - the CDs go in the tray with the label side down.

Thanks Tiron, but white bird was right. They were sitting upside down, right to "normal people" but back wards for GM...fugures!

THANKS!!
