Default Kenwwood KDC X696 (NEW)

I am pleased to announce.... I finally ditched my Stock head unit for I hope was a good decision in this brand new Kenwwod. This has only been out for a very short while. I should notice a huge difference with my new speakers. Check out the highlights here.http://www.kenwoodusa.com/Car_Entert...ivers/KDC-X696

i had circuit city do the headunit in my car yearsss ago and they used a typical metra kit to install it. i hated the way it stuck out a lot due to the mounting tab that attaches to the back fo the factory unit so i just cut that out on mine and now it sits flush with the dash. not hard to do but the metra kit is meh.

Yea you need to remove the factory tab or bracket to make the new HU flush.
