Default Stock BOSE broken?

I started having problems today. When I turn on the radio, it sounds like aliens are trying to abduct me. If I turn up the volume loud, I can make out what radio station is on, but other than that its just "nails on chalk board" sounds. Its a stock BOSE head unit with pioneer speakers throught the car. I have no idea how to trouble shoot something like this.....any thoughts?

I doubt these are related, but this all happened after I romped on it hard pulling out from light. Just a hard 1 though 3 pull. I'm totaly lost when it comes to radio stuff.....

its hard to say...I mean you could have disconnected the antenna or your head unit could be fried

try pulling it out and making sure everything is connected

try a CD (or tape)

try disconnecting the battery

I have a used C5 headunit for sale right now, not 100% but I'd think it would work in your car

use a multi meter and AA battery to test the antenna's connection

if nothing above fixes it I'd take it to a local stereo shop and let them mess with it
