Default Radios Interchangeable

Will a 98-02 Pontiac Firebird or T/A OEM radio fit into a 98-02 Camaro?

This has been asked and answered dozens of times. Yes, Camaro and Firebird head units are physically interchangeable but they have different looks (color, lighting, controls) and features (equalizer, speed controlled volume, power antenna, etc.).

The differences are detailed in the Monsoon FAQ sticky at the top of the section.

Sorry forgot to check in on it.

I just recently changed the color over to red on the camaro, and I recall someone saying that a pontiac has a reddish orange color to it. It seems I never be able to buy a high dollar aftermarket radio, so the quick fix would be to get a pontiac one. Once that is done I might attempt to MOD the module from greenish blue to red with LEDs. I would guess it would be similiar to the odometer MOD?

Thanks for the help....
