Wiring question I'm doing some wiriing in my car and I thought this was a good place to post it. I'm extending some wires in my car for my A4-M6 swap and I want to know: can I use 18 gauge wire as an extension for 20 gauge wire? Basically, I'm using a thicker wire to extend a thinner wire. Is this ok?

yeah, thats fine. you just really dont want to extend larger wire with smaller wire. just did this to my buddies t/a. still have to put his 4l60e in my car. good luck with it. it was pretty straight forward.
